Benidorm is a seaside resort on the east coast of Spain, part of the famous Costa Blanca in the Valencia region. It was a small fishing village until the 1960s and is currently a popular Mediterranean vacation destination famous for its nightlife. Its two wide sandy beaches, the Levante beach and the Poniente beach, are lined with palm tree lined promenades, bars and rows of skyscrapers.
